Sir Winston Churchill was a compulsive doodler. Throughout their fifty-six year marriage Winston and Clementine Churchill corresponded regularly, and frequently ended their letters to each other with simple drawings depicting their pet names for each other; he was her “pug” and she his “cat.” To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Sir Winston’s birth, Henry Poole & Co. has created a pairs of cufflinks, each depicting a cat and a pug motif taken directly from their letters to one another.
