Henry Poole & Co are delighted to announce the opening of our new archive room. In collaboration with Plymouth Gin we will be celebrating the opening on 2nd December.
We are most fortunate that Henry Poole and Co has retained all the customer records since 1846 and we have approximately 120 large ledgers, index books and measure books. These contain orders from so many famous clients such as Emperor Napoleon III, Czars Alexander II and Alexander III of Russia, King Umberto of Italy, Prime Minister Disraeli, Winston Churchill, Charles de Gaulle and King Edward VII, Queen Victoria and HM Queen Elizabeth II.
